Tenants at Jackie Robinson Houses in East Harlem confronted @NYCHA at a #PACT privatization meeting about how these privatization schemes are a scam. Tenants from Manhattanville, who are also fighting privatization, came to support.
@NYCHA, politicians, banks, developers, all try to sell privatization as a good thing for tenants. But when the projects are privatized tenants are displaced, the companies that take over are slumlords worse than #NYCHA, and neighborhoods are gentrified.
Tenants across NYCHA developments are saying NO to privatization, and will rally at City Hall Park next Thursday 7/14 at 1pm to protest @NYCMayor #EricAdams’ privatization of NYCHA.

Grant Houses’s has a broken drain pipe on 430 West 125th Street roof causing floods in peoples apartment. The management office knows about yet never mentioned it to the tenants; people are finding out once their apartments has been flooded out and damaged. This is ongoing as if this post. This has to be addressed ASAP.
